Getting bikini ready? Don’t forget your skin!

Avoid the peak UV hours of 10am to 4pm, wear dark-coloured clothes and a cap.

Apply a decent layer of non-comedogenic sunscreen 30 minutes before heading out into the sun (they say your entire body should require 25 ml – that’s one shot glass – of sunscreen for effective coverage and protection!)

When you get really hot, the natural oils on your scalp drip down your face and body and mix with your sweat, settling into pores along your hairline, neck and shoulders, causing breakouts. To avoid this, wear clothes made of material like lycra and nylon, which don’t trap sweat.
