Bitter sweet… Sugar diaries.

Be careful of sugar in your diet, too much sugar can cause damage to collagen. You can spot the sugar damage when your lines under the eyes or on the neck cross over.

To increase collagen, you can consume bone broth or plant-based collagen powders. You can also come for collagen induction therapy (or CIT or microneedling facial) or a Green Peel to stimulate your skin to produce it’s own collagen (and reduce the sugar intake as much as possible!)

Check labels for the “of which total sugar” amount in grams. 1 teaspoon of sugar = 4 grams, so try and work out how much you’re consuming on a daily basis. Get familiar with what sugar levels are in which sauces etc and make sure you stay below the recommended threshold (6 teaspoons or 24g for the average woman and 9 teaspoons or 36g for the average man)
